Marcus Wurster ("@Marcus Wurster" on Slack)
Marcus, part of CorrelAid since 2023. I help Jasmin and Nicolas to organise the mentoring programm. I work as an Analytics Engineer at a Start Up in the southwest of Germany. In my spare time I like to play football with my childhood friends and go for walks in the beautiful Black Forest.
Polina ("@Polina" on Slack)
Polina, first got to know CorrelAid around 2017 and since then participated in several projects. I’ve been part of CorrelAid Mentoring both as a mentor and a mentee over the last 3 years. I learned a lot during this time and met many incredible people in the program! I am a data scientist and develop ML solutions, bringing the power of data-driven decision making to the end users. I care a lot about integrating interdisciplinary perspectives and explainability techniques into all parts of data science projects.
Linda Peitz ("@Linda" on Slack)
I became closely involved with CorrelAid in 2024 through my participation in the R Learning Course. My professional background is rooted in the fields of languages, literature, and contemporary art. However, my enduring passion for data motivated me to pursue formal training in Data Science and AI earlier that year, marking the beginning of my transition towards a more data-centric career. I contribute to organizing the Mentoring Program because I believe it provides a valuable opportunity for both mentors and mentees to grow and develop in the complex world of data.
David Kollmann ("@David K." on Slack)
I became part of CorrelAid in December 2022 through a CorrelAid X Challenge on off-shore data. I study Comparative and International Studies in Zurich and I’m passionate about data in empirical research.
